Chocolate Ganache
Chocolate has a reputation of being a kinda fickle ingredient—which it most certainly deserves—because it most definitely is. But there are a few really simple recipes that are so foolproof that you can make them with just about anybody, and this simple two-ingredient ganache is one of them. Using a 1:1 ratio of chocolate and cream gives you a flowy ganache that’s great for dipping or pouring. If you want to make a firmer ganache that’s better for rolling truffles, adjust the ratio and use 2:1 chocolate and cream.
Ingredients
- 8 oz heavy cream
- 8 oz chocolate, chopped
- Marshmallows, berries, bananas, cookies (anything dippable)
Instructions
- Place heavy cream in a small pot and place over medium heat. When bubbles begin to form on the surface, add the chopped chocolate and stir with a spatula until evenly combined.
- Cover things in chocolate!
