Kitchen Party for a New Kitchen

Join us at the Kwanlin Dun Cultral Centre for a night of East Coast themed dinner and dancing – in aid of a renovated kitchen for our local Food Bank.
In partnership with the Food Bank Society of the Yukon, Whitehorse Rendezvous Rotary is hosting an event to raise money for a new kitchen at the Food Bank facility on Alexander Street.
The Food Bank Society of the Yukon is a community-based organization that provides emergency food to people in need – currently serving over 1900 people a month. Their facility has a kitchen in need of renovations.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 for a new kitchen – a kitchen party for a kitchen!
-Doors open at 6:00pm Yukon Standard Time.
-Cash bar with beer from Winterlong, Alexander Keiths, red and white wines, and Screech shots.
-Silent auction with fabulous donations from local businesses and artists.
-The opportunity to have your photo taken kissing a cod.
-Kits Kitchen is catering a buffet dinner inspired by the cuisine of the Atlantic provinces, which will be available at 7:00pm.
-The Leesiders will kick off the live music at 8:30pm. Dancers bring your dancing shoes!
