Each year we hope you take the time to remember on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, wherever we are. In the modern world and as we become more disconnected from the memories of what occurred, it becomes more important that we share the necessity of recalling what may occur when we throw our women and men into war.

We owe them gratitude and we owe them remembering the costs so that no one should have to be asked to do so again.

Each Yukon community has different traditions that they share on Nov. 11, but we hope that you take the time to acknowledge the history and men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
