20 Minute Makeover
Join us for our annual 20-Minute Makeover, Let’s beautify our city by collecting the residual waste that was hiding under the snow all winter!
This year, we encourage you to clean up your favourite parks, trails, and recreation areas. We’ll have bags, gloves, graffiti cleaning supplies, music and snacks at Shipyards Park. Let’s team up to clean up!
Supplies will be available at the Frank Slim Building in Shipyards Park the week prior if your time is limited on the day of the event.
If picking up garbage in your neighbourhood, you can drop it off at one of our extra collection sites – the blue markers on this map.
Remember to stay safe and wear high visibility clothing when cleaning along wildlife corridors and busy roadways.
If you find needles/sharps, please call or text Blood Ties Four Directions at 867-334-1647 for needle pick-up and disposal.
