Advanced Woodworking - Cutting Boards

Advanced Woodworking – Cutting Boards. This workshop takes place over two days, Monday June 7, and Tuesday June 8, from 6-9.

Come challenge yourself and learn how To Make A beautiful cutting board.

You’ll use quality hardwoods to learn how to build up cutting boards from smaller strips, how to handle more complicated glue-ups, finishing, and what to do with all those little scraps of nice wood you’ve been holding on to!

Maple, walnut, and some purple heart and padauk hardwoods are provided as part of the course fee. If you’d like to add other wood to your cutting board, feel free to bring it along in lengths longer than 16″.

About the instructor: Heya! I’m Alex, and I love redneck DIY; making as nice a piece as possible out of cheap dimensional lumber is my preferred approach. I’ve been DIYing for almost a decade now, and I’m excited to learn and teach in our fabulous community!

Closed-toed shoes required. Wear clothes that can get dirty.

Minimum 4 participants | Maximum 6 participants | Cancellation & Refund Policy
