Arts in the Park: Selena Savage Quartet
Selena is a vocalist and trombone player returning from her second year at the UofT jazz program in Toronto. Born and raised in the Yukon, she discovered a love for jazz through the Whitehorse All-City Band program.
This quartet features three more fantastic Yukon-based musicians: Anne Turner on bass, Lonnie Powell on drums, and Andy Slade on piano. They’ll be performing a variety of jazz standards.
A full lineup of local music, plus Fiona McTaggart will be on scene all week as our visual artist.
Monday to Friday at noon and Wednesday at 7 pm in Lepage Park, Whitehorse.
