Custom Etched Glasses – Advanced Laser Cutting
Use our laser cutter to etch your own custom-designed drinking glass!
Etch a one-of-a-kind drinking glass in our advanced laser cutting workshop.
Participants will learn how to use Yukonstruct’s laser cutter, get comfortable with the Corel Draw software we use at Yukonstruct to create laser cut designs, and will walk away with a custom-designed drinking glass.
Previous laser cutting workshops or equivalent experience using the laser cutter are an asset.
About the instructor: Shams enjoys creating with all aspects of the Makespace and empowering others to do the same. Her workshops have included 3D printing, upcycled clothing, resin carpentry, metalworking, and intro to circuits. In the summer, Shams works as an outdoor guide with Outward Bound, where she finds joy in seeing youth and adults alike surprising themselves with what they can do
