New Year Morning Practice Drop-In
Restarting this Thursday, Nakai’s morning practice is now a drop-in and by donation!
A warm up for getting into the day.

These gentle and invigorating morning sessions, led by Nakai’s Artistic Director Jacob Zimmer, are designed to:

• Start our day off right.
• Build personal physical capacity and range.
• Create shared experience and performance skills.

Embodied meditation, stretching, breathing, shaking, and dancing will be all part of a morning, and everything is adaptable to different bodies and needs.
Jacob will be drawing on his experiences in theatre and dance traditions to wake up and energize us for the day while creating new connections and experience.
What to bring:
• Yoga Mat (we have some if you don’t)
• Clothes: Since the work is physical, you need to wear clothes that don’t get in your way. Because some of the work is more strenuous and some is less, you should have layers of clothing that you can remove or put back on if you get too hot or too cold.
• Water, snacks
• Something to write on and with.
