Indigenous Book Club: Tomson Highway
Yukon Public Libraries and Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre invite you to the next Indigenous Book Club happening Thursday April 6. This event gives Yukoners an opportunity to connect with an Indigenous author and their work.
The next book is Permanent Astonishment by Tomson Highway. Copies of the book are available to borrow from the library now. Anyone can borrow the book, no library card needed. Visit your local public library or email [email protected] for more information.
The author will be in attendance for a discussion with a local Indigenous facilitator, a reading from their book and a Q&A with the audience. It is not necessary to read the book in order to attend the discussion.
ASL interpretation is available on request. Please email or call 667-5239 to request an interpreter.
A number of print books are available for anyone to borrow from Whitehorse Public Library. The eBook and audiobook are available from the Libby app. You must have a library card to access the digital version.
