Sewing for Beginners – Learn to Use Your Sewing Machine
Sewing is a skill that everyone should have, but for a lot of us it can be super intimidating to get started! This 4-week workshop series is intended to get you started and over that initial hump of figuring out your machine and the basics of sewing construction.
Have your own sewing machine but not sure where to start with it? This is the workshop for you! In this small class format, over 4 weeks you’ll get to bring your own machine and get comfortable with using it through some basic sewing projects. With the assistance of an instructor who can walk you through the initial set up of your machine, participants will learn how to thread their machines, how to load a bobbin, and how to troubleshoot basic machine issues like tension, thread tangles, etc, all in a fun, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment!
