Storytelling Series
We’re excited to announce a spring workshop storytelling series at The Guild!
This workshop is FREE and if you have an interest in storytelling and would like to learn more about writing and performing a piece, this series is for you!
The format is simple: a 5-minute personal story that is “true to you.” For great examples of the form, check out The Moth podcast.
Over the three sessions, you’ll learn to find the seed of your story; apply basic techniques to structure your story; refine your voice, tone and intention; and master your performance.
The free Workshops will be held at The Guild March 13, 20, and 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
At the end of the workshops, you can choose to share your 5-minute story at The Guild’s Storytelling Show on Friday March 31st.
