presents original art produced on the trails, inspired by the natural and cultural history of Kwanlin/Miles Canyon & Canyon City. The aim is to connect Yukoners with our landscape and history through creative media, as well as to support local artists connecting with each other, the public, and the natural world. We aim to feature artists of all ages from all walks of life, who will explore the landscape and history of the area through a variety of perspectives and media.
This Is A TWO DAY class occurring on Aug. 11 and 18 from 6:00-9:00pm.
In this 6 hour advanced class your instructor will walk you through the techniques used to cut out and assemble a small backpack. You will learn many skills Including cutting out intricate pieces, creating pockets, creating pocket flaps, inserting zippers, inserting magnetic snaps, sewing the backpack, sewing lining and putting it all together . All supplies will be provided to complete one backpack. Please note that work in between classes will likely be required.
