    If the crocus is the official flower of spring, then the swan must be the official bird of spring in the Yukon. Each year thousands of swans ascend to the Yukon from winter feeding grounds along the coasts of Washington and southern British Columbia.

    If you spend time at Marsh Lake’s M’Clintock Bay this week, you may see new visitors. At up to four and-a-half feet tall, 35 pounds, with 8-foot wingspans, these visitors are hard to miss.
