Yesterday, we were someone's
dream of success,
prosperity on a billboard.
Some called us progress;
some, eyesore, then.
Now, we frame the
landscape and
invite random speculation,
art seeking
commerce with economy.
After 32 years teaching in rural Yukon schools, Dan Davidson retired from that profession but continues writing about life in Dawson City.
