The colder temperatures have made it a busy time in and around our feeders. Robert, the downy qoodpecker is becoming a daily visitor.
A flock of six to ten pine grosbeaks show up in the afternoons and seem to prefer digging in the snow over eating from the feeders. The chickadees are an all day presence. There are a bunch of black-capped chickadees and four boreal chickadees.
