Fall fell in the Yukon – time to put away the summer BBQ tools and haul out the slow cooker for warm-up, cozy feasts! This is a picture of my daughters’ Favorite -Caveman chili!
We grew carrots, tomatoes, onions and peppers in our garden and greenhouse, which add healthy veggie goodness to the pork and beef-mix base of this recipe. (And yes, every recipe is better with bacon so I double the amount called for…)
My daughter decorated our first Fall pumpkin/gourd of the season to sit amongst us at dinner.
All that’s missing now is a hot cup of Firebean Roasters coffee to follow the meal.
