The Thistle Creek Dredge in fog. I took this picture on September 10, 2001, while employed by Schmidt Mining on Thistle Creek. This dredge was operated by Yukon Gold Placers and ran from 1949 to 1952. The company also ran dredges on Clear Creek and Henderson Creek, ceasing operations in 1957.
The Thistle and Clear creek dredges have since been disassembled and rebuilt on the Indian River.
