Crispy roasted broccoli with homemade seasoning salt

Ingredients

  • Ingredients for roasted broccoli
  • 1 large head of broccoli
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • A few pinches of homemade seasoning salt
  • Ingredients for homemade seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°FChop the stocks off your head of broccoli, and cut it up into small broccoli florets.
  2. Put the broccoli florets in a large bowl and drizzle on the extra-virgin olive oil. Using a spoon or your hands, toss the broccoli florets until they are evenly coated in oil. Make your homemade seasoning salt by combining all dry ingredients in a small mason jar or dish. Add a few pinches of seasoning salt to your oiled broccoli florets and toss them again to evenly coat.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and evenly spread the broccoli florets out. Watch out for furry invaders!
  4. Bake the broccoli florets for roughly 25 minutes, or until they are starting to brown and get crispy around the edges. Serve and enjoy!
