Selina sings, plays guitar, and piano. She plays a wide variety of genres including rock, funk, soul, blues and R&B. She plays solo and with duos, trios and bands around the Yukon. 


Selina is a Yukon based musician who has been described as a very soulful and versatile artist who plays moving originals and a wide range of covers. Her repertoire consists of a variety of musical styles from Stevie Wonder to Janis Joplin to Aretha Franklin. She has performed countless times in and around the Yukon, at many festivals and different events including: Atlin Arts and Music Festival, Adaka Cultural Festival, Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous, Blue Feather Music Festival, Sunstroke Music Festival, and many more. She is mainly a vocalist, pianist and guitarist with a diploma in Music and Technology from Selkirk College.Selina is also a member of the funk band Major Funk and the Employment, who have toured all over Western Canada playing at many festivals including Kaslo Jazz Fest and Folk on the Rocks. in 2018 the band released their debut studio EP "Thoughts" , they are currently working on their second.
