The month of January
is kind of scary.
We don’t have to be told
‘cause this month is so cold.
The temperature goes to
40 below
everything seems to run
slow.
We’re in a deep freeze
with hardly any breeze.
Even when it’s noon
we still see the moon.
We like to stay inside
an’ animals like to hide.
We freeze all of our toes
‘cause we’re not tough like
crows.
When we’re in a cold spell
I don’t feel too well.
I can’t wait for February
to arrive
‘cause January is hard to
survive.
