When I train,
I tolerate pain.
Sometimes I feel lazy
And a bit crazy.
When I’m sore,
I feel poor.
Sometimes I get hurt
An’ there’s discomfort.
When I have a sore muscle,
It’s hard to hustle.
Sometimes I ache
An’ I’m not awake.
When I feel ill,
I want to keep still.
Sometimes I’m way behind
An’ I come to a stop sign.
When I’m out of luck,
I feel like an old buck.
Sometimes I feel tired
But I’m not retired.
Blood, sweat and tears,
I’ll run ’till I’m 100 years.
