Didee & Didoo: Poem “Improvise”

You are wise 

if you improvise. 

You have knowledge 

not learned in college. 

You make plans 

using your hands. 

You use tools 

not following rules. 

You use your mind 

with what you find. 

You fix things 

even using strings. 

When stuff falls apart 

you have to be smart. 

You fix things that squeak 

and you like to tweak. 

You can turn trash 

an’ junk into cash. 

Sometimes you get stuck 

but you use your luck. 

You’re a good thinker 

and you like to tinker. 

You have smart eyes 

when you improvise.
