- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup grated cheddar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 5 large jalapenos, halved (seeds removed if you like it a bit milder)
- 10 strips bacon
- Set oven at 425o F. Mix cream cheese and grated cheddar together and season to taste with salt and pepper. Fill the cavity of each jalapeno with cheese mixture. Wrap each stuffed jalapeno with bacon. Place on a sheet tray and bake for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, switch the oven to broil and continue to cook the stuffed jalapenos until the bacon begins to brown, about 5 minutes. Remove and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
